A celebration of festive music from across the world and through the centuries; from Medieval carols to new versions of traditional Christmas songs, beautiful classical masterpieces to folk-influenced improvisations, and two very special songs reflecting these uncertain times written and performed by Clara Sanabras. This is a programme of music by Franz Schubert, Benjamin Britten, Claude Debussy and many unknown 14th 15th and 16th century composers through the lens of the unique sound world created by this unusual instrumentation.
