About Mithras Trio
The Mithras Trio came together in 2017 at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. The trio has undertaken residences at Snape Maltings and at the Schulich School of Music in Montreal They have performed at many of London’s major venues, including Queen Elizabeth Hall, Purcell Room and Milton Court Concert Hall, as well as making regular appearances in festivals in the UK and Europe.
They are currently members of the prestigious BBC New Generation Artists scheme. In 2019 they won the 10th Trondheim International Chamber Music competition and the Royal Philharmonic Society Chamber Ensemble Award. They were selected as Kirckman Concert Society Artists and also the Countess of Munster Recital Scheme Artists.
